Assembling a bicycle for touring: Ok: If you take 100 touring bicycles, you will see 100 different solutions. There is no ready-made recipe for preparing a bicycle and hitting the road, however, some questions are always present and in today's video I tried to raise what these questions are so that you can find your own solutions. The Tortuga had a very long gestation. Stuck in the isolation caused by COVID in 2020, I had a year to research and find the best solutions for my project. Aluminum or chrome frame? Fork or suspension? Which group to choose? And the tires? I confess that for some of these questions I still haven't found a definitive answer, if there is one! But after having ridden the first 1000 km of the journey, some things are starting to seem clearer. I share with you my choices so that they can serve as a reference and starting point.
