As lovers of cycling, we have visited the High Tatras many times to ride one of the cycle routes, or to go to a ball or a mountain hut. However, cycling for several days continuously around the Tatras and seeing them from the saddle of a bicycle from all possible sides and angles was very inspiring. And so we found ourselves on the Orava cycle highway in Trstena, where we started our own version of a cycling adventure around the Tatras. We didn't miss the Polish side of the Tatras either, where we discovered remote mountain residences with undiscovered scenery and views. We were also faced with challenges in difficult terrain, cold mountain streams, impassable sections, or vagaries of the weather, to which we had to adapt. Against the background of all this, we uncovered the ancient and less distant history of the Tatras, from the geological history to the creation of the first mountain settlements, spas and tourist centers. And now let's cycle around the Tatras...
