About Speaker: Dr. Prakash Raj Regmi is a pioneering Cardiologist and Professor in Nepal. He earned MD (General Medicine) with honors in 1985 and MD (Postgraduate specialization Clinical Ordinatura) in Cardiology in 1987, Kharkov Medical Institute, Ukraine. He is best known for working on the prevention & control of non-communicable diseases in Nepal. He has put tremendous efforts into the expansion and decentralization of Cardiac Services in Nepal. He has contributed a lot to public awareness generation through mass media. His works in Rheumatic Heart Disease prevention are recognized nationally and internationally. He has written more than 10 books in different topics of Non-Communicable Diseases and has several research articles published in national and international scientific medical journals. About Divine Youth Club Nepal: Divine Youth Club Nepal is the socio-spiritual not-for-profit youth organization where like-minded Nepali youth volunteer for self-less social service and practice spirituality.
