Motorhome innovations 2025 The family business with its 58 employees is located just 30 km from Hamburg in the tranquil town of Itzstedt. The company founder Frank Reimers began converting and renting out vans himself in the early 1970s while he was still studying. The Reimers family was thus one of the first motorhome rental companies in Germany. In 1992, Reimers Rent GmbH was founded as a sideline business, meaning the Reimers family could finally combine their hobby with their job. Shortly after the company was founded, it became one of the three largest motorhome rental companies in Germany. In 1998, Reisemobil GmbH was founded and another company focus was placed on trading in high-quality vehicles. The company premises now cover more than 20,000 square meters and since 2016 a spacious parking lot has also been offered for overnight guests and cars. Almost all new accessories that come onto the market are tested in practice by the Reimers couple and their children, who are also motorhome enthusiasts, before they are offered to customers, true to the company motto "We live motorhomes"! For two years now, special motorhomes with high-quality Alpine components have been offered for rent.
