We present a room tour of architect Sekimoto Ryuta's own home, "OPENFLAT." We learn about the concept of two generations of families spilling views onto each other through the courtyard, and how the design firm also wanted to open up the home and workplace to the city. Sekimoto had an enjoyable talk about how he conceived and worked on creating his own home about five years after going independent, and about his experiences and feelings since moving in.
