Actor Kyohei Shibata appeared at the preview screening of WOWOW's "Double-Edged Axe," in which he co-stars with Arata Iura, held on October 26th in Tokyo, along with Iura, Kazebuki Jun, and director Yoshitaka Mori. The drama is based on Takeaki Daimon's novel "Double-Edged Axe" (Chuko Bunko). Shibasaki (Shibata), a detective in the First Investigation Division whose eldest daughter was murdered by someone, pursues the truth of the case with his subordinate Kawasumi (Iura), but the case goes cold. 15 years later, things start moving again with the establishment of a "special investigation team" that specializes in reinvestigating unsolved cases. Kawasumi joins the reinvestigation of the case, while Shibasaki pursues the truth on his own. As the two men from different positions clash, the case takes on a new dimension... This is the story. It will be broadcast on WOWOW Prime and WOWOW 4K every Sunday at 10 pm from November 13th. There are 6 episodes in total, with the first episode being broadcast for free.
