Aquila Waterfall, Bino Lake, Prato Grande, Partigiano Cave: video trekking Val Nure and Val Ceno

On the border between Parma and Piacenza there is a truly unique Trekking! 🤩I am between Val Nure (PC) and Val Ceno (PR) and what I propose is a little-known route through paths and meadows that lead to a spectacular waterfall 💦, to a lake of glacial origin🧊 and to a cave used by partisans in the Second World War 🔫. My friends from Piacenza Alberto, Elena, Stefano and the inevitable Zora 🐕🦺🐾 and I left the car🚗 in the locality of Roffi, near Cassimoreno, in the Municipality of Ferriere in the Province of Piacenza. We crossed the village and kept the path on the left marked from time to time with a red sign on some plants🌿. After a short time you get to see the bed of the Rio Lardana which gives rise to the Cascata dell'Aquila. The bed of the Lardana was heavily eroded by the 2015 flood which among other things took away the last stretch of the old CAI path (currently erased) and a walkway that allowed the easy crossing of the Rio. We go along the bed of the Rio Lardana until we reach the foot of the Cascata dell'Aquila🦅. This is one of the highest and most spectacular waterfalls in the Piacenza area💦. Helped by a steel cable, we then go up to the right of the mountain and proceed towards Lago Bino💧. ATTENTION: there are no indications for this, several times in the video I say to download the track that you will find later in this description! After passing Lago Bino we proceed towards the Rifugio Monte Ragola, near Prato Grande, open on weekends in the summer months🌞. Now it is NOVEMBER and therefore the Refuge is closed❌. From the Refuge, cross the meadows keeping to the left of the direction from which we arrived until you reach a dirt road that leads to the Grotta del Partigiano.
