Whether red, green, tangy or juicy, the apple is one of the fruits that slips best into our sweet recipes. However, a good apple is not always easy to find, on the other hand, you will see that in dessert, it is always sublime. We first go to Nicolas Louault's land, where he grows nearly thirty varieties of organic apples, hand-picked and made into tarts by his wife Laure, who will give us her recipe. Then we go to Paris to meet Nello Di Meo, who will cook a recipe passed down by his older brother: a pastry-free tatin! We will then leave the apple tart to focus on another dessert, the strudel, which Petra and her mother Magdalena will prepare for us in Strasbourg. Another border, another delicacy, the gastronomy of the other side of the Channel is also full of sweet traditions: Hélène Picken knows something about it since, having fallen in love with an Englishman, she was also won over by his culinary culture, and will make us the very popular "Apple Pie". We will also prepare the emblematic recipe for the Tatin tart, which is said to have been born from the brilliant blunder of the two Tatin sisters.
