Aporreado is a milonga written by Rogério Villagran and André Teixeira, which has as its theme this emblematic figure of rural culture, the horse that is not tamed, that has “got mad”. In the lyrics, the spurred horse is portrayed as one of the most important elements of riding parties. André Teixeira and the Coração de Potro Quarteto interpret the song as a tribute to this character, who brightens and strengthens the cause in defense of tradition and culture.
