Similarly, the choice of the best antidepressant drug does not always follow shared criteria, with a good theoretical rationale and based on evidence. For all these reasons I thought of making a brief summary, aimed mainly at doctors in training and non-specialist doctors, to try to provide some basic information to better understand the complex world of modern antidepressants. You can consider this video as a short lesson in psychopharmacology or even, as is often the case nowadays, a psychopharmacology tip for psychologists or other mental health workers.
