We took a walk around Ikeshima in Nagasaki Prefecture, where the legend of the dragon god remains. Ikeshima, also known as the second Battleship Island, has a mysterious atmosphere as we go deeper into the island. The ferry terminal to Ikeshima is also located in the Sotome area, a World Heritage Site. [Ikeshima Island] Ikeshima belongs to Nagasaki City. It is an island that was once occupied by the Ikeshima Coal Mine. The coal mine was closed in 2001. It is called another Gunkanjima and is enjoyed by tourists. Currently, there are tours to enter the old mine by trolley train, which is enjoyed by tourists.
