A woman who prefers to remain anonymous was arrested with her boyfriend, who turned out to be the head of a transportation robbery ring. Without evidence, a judge pointed to her as the mastermind, citing that women manipulate men because they are more intelligent, a machismo that even in reviews continued to affect her process, as well as her stay in a rehabilitation center. She arrived in prison four months pregnant, lived motherhood in prison until her son turned three years old and questioned her why they were locked up. Without the support of her parents and with the risk that an aunt would start a process to “take him away,” she had to make one of the most difficult decisions and send him to a foundation from where today, at 13 years old, she continues to be the support and comfort that her mother needs to move forward.
