About :

Reduced costs in animal feed, water supply and irrigation of coconut trees. This integration also reduces the use of chemical inputs and helps control pests in coconut trees. This new trend, ILPF, Crop, Livestock and Forest Integration, generates greater efficiency in land use without soil degradation or environmental damage. Gliricidia fixes nitrogen in the soil, increases the organic matter content and the nutrients in the deep areas of the soil are also recycled, thus reducing the use of chemical fertilizers. By integrating gliricidia, fauna diversity is increased, attracting more bees and pollinating insects, sheltering birds and nesting in its branches.
