★ Aneng AN870: https://www.gotronik.pl/an870-aneng-p... AN870 is a compact universal meter. It is a multimeter equipped with a large digital LCD display with backlight. In the AN870 meter, we can use the automatic measurement range change function or manual range change by the user. Importantly, the AN870 meter has a built-in TrueRMS effective value measuring transducer for alternating voltage (AC). In a fairly handy housing that fits perfectly in the hand, we have a multimeter with measurement functions most often used and needed by beginner electronics and hobbyist electricians, as well as by professional users of electronic services. The most commonly used measurement function in this type of digital meters is the voltage measurement function. The AN870 meter allows you to measure both DC and AC voltage. Considering the maximum indication on the LCD display of the AN870 meter of 19999, we can measure DC voltage with the smallest resolution of 1µV. It is completely sufficient even for professional users. The second range often used is the measurement of resistance, i.e. electrical resistance, e.g. resistors in Ohm units. AN870 measures resistance up to 199.99 MΩ in 7 sub-ranges. Similarly to voltage, current intensity can be measured on different ranges: µA, mA and A, which gives the smallest accuracy of 0.01 µA (micro ampere). Capacitance measurement of capacitors up to a maximum value of 9.999 mF (milli farads), and with the smallest resolution 1 pF = 0.001 nF. Frequency measurement up to 9.999 MHz available in 6 sub-ranges. Duty Cycle waveform fill factor measurement from 1% to 99%. As in practically every digital universal meter, we have basic functions: an acoustic continuity tester, the so-called "buzzer" and a function for testing semiconductor diodes (diode test). One of the functions that is not often found in digital multimeters is NCV (No Contact Voltage), which is a function of non-contact detection of alternating voltage. Temperature measurement can be performed using the attached external thermocouple or after disconnecting the AN870 meter from the measurement terminals, the meter starts to measure the ambient temperature with an internal semiconductor diode. Other functions that increase the attractiveness of everyday work with the AN870 multimeter include Auto Power Off (APO), which is an automatic switch-off. This function turns the meter off if no operations have been performed for 15 minutes (mode change, button pressing). To restart the device, press the SEL button or turn the knob to the OFF position and then to the desired position. Of course, if we want to make longer measurements, we can turn off the Auto Power Off function: to do this, press and hold the 'SELECT' button while turning the meter on until you hear 5 sound signals. The internal measurement system of the AN870 meter refreshes the measurement once per second. The HOLD function allows us to freeze the reading on the LCD display. An additional function of the button is the ability to illuminate the screen after holding it for more than 2 seconds.
