On this trip, I left São Paulo and headed for the Andes Mountains in Argentina. I crossed the border in São Borja in Rio Grande do Sul and continued on to Mendoza, at the foot of the mountain range. I went to the border with Chile and climbed the Christ the Redeemer of the Andes. On the way back to Mendoza, I passed by the Aconcagua viewpoint, the Puente de los Incas and took an off-road route (route 52 Villavicencio). From there, I started climbing the legendary route 40. I went to Tilcara, Cerro de 14 colors (Hornocal - Humahuaca) and began the return to Brazil, crossing Paraguay. Ruta Nacional 40 is an Argentine highway that runs from south to north across the country, from the province of Santa Cruz to the border with Bolivia, making it the longest highway in Argentina. The highway runs parallel to the Andes Mountains, including sections close to or in National Parks. It passes through several of the most important tourist regions and attractions in Argentina. The highway covers 5,224 km: starting at sea level, it crosses 20 national parks, 18 important rivers, connects 27 mountain passes in the mountain range and climbs to an altitude of 4,895 meters at the mountain pass called Abra del Acay, in the province of Salta. ✅ CONTRIBUTE TO THE CHANNEL BY MAKING A PIX: [email protected] ✅ BECOME A MEMBER OF THE CHANNEL AND WATCH THE VIDEOS IN ADVANCE! / @thinoronha ➤Itinerary 16 days of travel - 7,766 km.
