The temples of the Nizhne-Arkhyz settlement and the Shoaninsky temple are in Karachay-Cherkessia. The Nuzal church, the church in the village of Kesatikau and the Zrug temple are in North Ossetia. The Tkhaba-Yerdy temple is in Ingushetia... All these ancient temples appeared in the North Caucasus during the heyday of the Alanian kingdom and have survived to this day.
