He is one of the most influential and most imitated photographers of today. A master of colour and composition, 'The suffering of light' is his best-known book, which covers 30 years of work in colour. Browsing through it is like witnessing the evolution of an immense photographer, whose ability to fill the frame and do so with an (almost) magically ordered chaos sets him apart from the rest. The continuous tension between light and shadow catches our eyes, the geometries hidden in the chaos stimulate our brain... these are some of the details that explain our (sometimes mysterious) attraction to his photographs.
