Composed by José María Cano (member along with Nacho Cano and Ana Torroja, of the musical group Mecano), this song was the second single from her album 'Rosa de amor y fuego' (1989) and is one of the most beautiful songs she has ever performed. Also covered by various artists such as María Dolores Pradera, Julio Iglesias or Chenoa, this is, in my opinion, the most important romantic song of her recording career, and I consider that it should be included among the best boleros of Hispanic music, because it addresses love in a cold and dedicated way at the same time, without falling at all into easy and cheap sentimentality, with exceptional sensitivity and a magical originality, very unique and characteristic of its author. In all her versions, which are essentially similar, Ana Belén brings multiple nuances to the lyrics, including sweetness, sensuality, eroticism, mystery and warmth. In the video, as always, she is tremendously attractive and more spectacular than ever. Personally, I love them all, but I particularly like this version, especially at the end of the performance, when the voice fades away so much and disappears among the music.
