An old couple once lived in a small house in a village in Luxembourg. Their passion had been traveling all their lives. They always brought home souvenirs from their expeditions into the wide world, which are on display throughout the house. Exclusive pieces like I've never seen before. They had always had enough money, trips to faraway places, fancy souvenirs, an expensive car - but then the wife died and the husband was left alone in the house. The lonely life after so many years of marriage was not easy and so it was not surprising that at some point illnesses set in and the husband became a nursing case. The money they had saved up slipped through their fingers and finally the husband died in his bed in old age - leaving behind a mountain of debt. No one wanted to take over their parents' inheritance because that would have meant that they would inherit the house and the debts they had left behind. And so the house has been abandoned for many years; mould and natural decay have set in, but all the mementos of the life of the traveling couple keep the memory of the two people alive. For the Lost Place Tapes this should be one of the most interesting explorations ever and certainly the most beautiful lost place in the Grand Duchy!
