I visited this fairytale world many times in my childhood, as I grew up next to it, by Lake Tisza. During the few days I spent here at the end of October, I was able to follow the habits and everyday life of these special birds. It was nice to get away from the noise of the big city and listen only to the sound of the cranes, while I was captivated by the beauty of Hortobágy. I realized again and again what miracles there are in our little country. Just notice, discover and take care of them!
