Three days in Alta Pusteria and a world of family activities and child-friendly walks opened up to us. In this video we take you with us: 1. Around Lake Braies You'll have to get up early if you want to walk around Lake Braies with the calm it deserves. It's a half-hour drive from Sesto. There's no denying it: it's one of the most popular places in Italy and it deserves it. In high season you even have to book a parking space and once the spaces are full you can only go by parking quite far away and walking to the lake. At the end of June there was no need to book and just before nine in the morning we parked in one of the car parks closest to the lake, at a cost of 4 euros. There were few people around and we were able to take photos and videos in peace. Around 10:30, when we had already completed the tour of the lake, the situation had become decidedly more crowded. The tour of Lake Braies is a beautiful and extremely varied walk. You go from the forest to the beach, from the steps that take you up the steepest section to the white rocks, to the wooded land. Every corner is a discovery, every step a wow! 2. To the pools of the Family Resort Rainer, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. 3. To take an easy walk from Sesto on Mount Elmo, in search of Olperl (barefoot). With the brand new and stylish Helmjet Sexten cable car, from Sesto you can reach the 2050 meters of Mount Elmo. From here, several paths branch off, suitable for different types of hikers. We chose the Olperl Nature Park, which the more daring (like me!) can also do barefoot. It is a circular path of a kilometer and a half, accessible, to discover Olperl, a mysterious creature of the woods, but also with themed points where children can discover curiosities about the inhabitants of the woods. 4. To make bread at the mill of the Resort Rainer. This activity is done weekly for the little guests of the resort. 5. At the foot of Mount Baranci, in the World of the Baranci Giant, where we will find: 6. The village of gnomes, on the right of the top station of the chairlift, adjacent to the Baranci Refuge, has wooden houses to explore, perfect for a moment of play for children and relaxation for parents, 7. the path to discover the Baranci Giant, which is a ring of just over a kilometer, accessible, through which to discover this friendly character and the mountain that gives him his name, 8. the funbob, which descends the entire mountain leading to the bottom station of the chairlift 9. A final surprise... The aerial shots were taken with DJI Mini 2.
