Dominko Gavrić from the village of Kovačići near Novi Travnik is protecting his goats from wolves during these winter days, feeding them and waiting for new kids every day. He also takes care of eight dogs, a greenhouse in which he already has spinach, onions, lettuce, then chickens, pigs, goats. Dominko is alone in the village and other locals come occasionally. Today we were the first to step on the snow to get to him because the snow has not yet arrived. He was very happy for us, so we spent a pleasant time hanging out with his animals and later, over homemade brandy, goat cheese, roast beef and sausage, we reminisced about the past. Wolves visit him constantly, but thanks to the dogs, they have not yet done any damage to the goat farm. Dominko also knows how to cook and we filmed him kneading bread.
