Bryant, a man with a mysterious past, moves to a small Mexican border town to start over and live a simple life. There, he reluctantly befriends a troubled local teenager who recently lost his mother and was recruited by a local street gang. Bryant keeps the boy on the right path by introducing him to martial arts and acting as a mentor, teacher, and father figure. As the story unfolds, we learn that Bryant didn’t just move to Mexico for nothing. He’s running from a complicated, violent past he thought he left behind.
