About :

Daewoo Lanos is a budget car that has won the title of "people's" and which still enjoys great popularity in the secondary market. The model was developed in the mid-90s and officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1997. Initially, Lanos were produced only in South Korea, but almost in parallel with the launch of production in their homeland, the model began to be assembled in Poland at the FSO plant. In addition, large-unit assembly of Lanos was organized in some Russian cities - Taganrog and Rostov-on-Don, where the car was named Assol. But the vast majority of Lanos throughout history were assembled in Ukraine at the Zaporozhye Automobile Plant. Initially, large-unit assembly took place here, and then full-scale production was launched. At the same time, the car was sold not only under its native name. The car is well known as ZAZ Chance, ZAZ Sens, and Lanos Chevrolet. In 2002, the car received a small restyling, during which the rear part and radiator grille were changed.
