#pinefallencone #pinecones #pineconemulch The use of pine fallencone has many advantages, among them the following can be highlighted: the structure and quality of the soil changes significantly, it becomes looser; air exchange is improved; crop protection from contact with the ground surface; moisture capacity increases; the root system of plants is strengthened; a pronounced pine aroma can repel insect pests; prevents slugs and snails from moving towards plants; in summer it protects the root system of plants from overheating, in winter - from freezing; due to gradual decomposition, the soil is saturated with useful macro- and microelements for several months. In garden plots, pine fallencone is used for various purposes: 1. As a covering material for heat-loving crops (hydrangeas, rhododendrons, actinidia, roses, onions, grapes). Before the cold weather, the plants are covered with dry fallencone and covered with film. 2. For compost preparation. Pine and spruce litter, like other organic materials, is easily fermented, forming a valuable natural fertilizer, which is added to improve the quality of the soil for any garden crops. 3. As an insecticide, effective against moths, codling moths, fleas, aphids and other small insect pests. To do this, pour 1 kg of needles with 10 liters of boiling water, cover with a lid and leave for 3-4 days. After that, the concentrate is filtered, diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio and sprayed on various plants during bud swelling and closer to the end of flowering. 4. As a base for warm beds. To do this, dig a trench in the fall, put a thick layer of needles on the bottom, cover it first with manure, then with plant residues and pour 20 cm of fertile soil on top. In spring, the organic matter will begin to rot, give off heat to the soil and simultaneously enrich it with nutrients. 5. For mulching - a layer of pine needles about 5 - 7 cm thick will prevent the growth of weeds, stop snails and slugs, help maintain optimal humidity, minimize contact of fruits with the soil and prevent soil erosion. Due to long-term rotting, there is no need to add a new layer often. ♥♥♥ Thanks for Like and for Subscribing to my channel ♥♥♥ My channel Yandex Zen https://zen.yandex.ru/smolnikova I recommend watching: Playlists: Tips for gardeners. • Tips for gardeners.
