In this video we discuss all the hand rules and rules of thumb in physics. There is the left-hand rule and right-hand rule for determining the Lorentz force and the left and right rules of thumb for determining the direction of the magnetic field lines of a conductor carrying current. We also discuss the rules of thumb specifically for a coil.
