The “Farm Stories” celebrate their 150th episode: Granddaughter Hanna’s horse doesn’t want to get on the trailer. There is excitement – including at Albert Smidt. Karsten Dudziak in Neustrelitz is left guessing. The beet harvester is producing too much waste. In Osterode, Daniel Wehmeyer is supported by intern Lea, and at the Viehbrook farm, Christian Voss-Rahe is happy about the fresh apple juice from their own production. Albert Smidt has already experienced a lot, especially with horses. The East Frisian watches intently as his granddaughter Hanna struggles to load her horse into the trailer. Hanna and her mother Alice take part in a show jumping tournament – with success. At Karsten Dudziak’s in Sophienhof, the sugar beet harvest is not going as hoped. The beet harvester is breaking up too many beets. This can significantly reduce the harvest. The farmer hopes that things will go better with a new set of blades on the harvester. On the organic farm, Daniel Wehmeyer and his intern Lea look after the Harzer Rote Höhenvieh cattle. The agricultural science student has to overcome her fear, however, because she is actually afraid when working with cows that also have horns. In Schleswig-Holstein, the Voss-Rahe family has harvested their 120 apple trees. Now the mobile apple press is rolling onto the Viehbrook farm. Everyone in the neighborhood is helping out. The reward in the last "Hofgeschichten" episode by Kirsten and Christian: delicious apple juice!
