Do you know the order of fire extinguisher use? Murat Bakan, an AKUT volunteer we lost in recent years, explains it for you. Dry chemical powder (KKT), carbon dioxide (CO2), halocarbon and foam fire extinguishers are used to extinguish different types of fires. Although the active ingredients they contain are different, the order of fire extinguisher use generally does not change. The extinguishing process is done with the PASS technique.
