Good evening, you are watching Agape. In our guest tonight, Professor Emeritus at the Belgrade Faculty of Philology, Serbian culture has a large-scale author with multiple talents and roles. He is known to the public primarily as the author of books about Dostoevsky, Thomas Mann and Andrić, and partly as a philosopher, essayist and translator. For his poetry and novel work, he received the Ivo Andrić and Branko Ćopić awards. The concepts of beauty, happiness and love stand out in his work. What is more, through his work, he seems to want to convince us that he is not a crazy man who imagines that happiness is possible in a problematic world through love, but that he must be a crazy man who imagines that life without love can be happy. We wish Professor Emeritus Mr. Dragan Stojanović a good evening.
