This video shows how to change the drum drive belt of an AEG Lavatherm Protex dryer. The dryer stopped heating the air, although the turbine continued to work. The end result is that the dryer stopped after 10 minutes of operation with the drum full and the clothes were still wet. On the Internet I read or saw on YouTube that in many cases the problem is caused by a thermostat or pressure switch that is connected to supply current to the dryer's resistors, so if the dryer does not work correctly, these devices do not activate and the drying cycle is cancelled. I also saw or it is said on the Internet that this type of appliance has safety devices to activate or deactivate different components, also causing them to trip, stopping the machine to avoid any major damage. I had error 32 on the front panel of the dryer, which as I have already mentioned before indicates that the problem is that a pressure switch does not work or is not activated. The engine was working correctly, because the turbine emits air, and the turbine is connected by the same shaft as the engine, so the engine could not be, so I had to check if it was the belt that moves the drum, so I decided to disassemble it and this video is the result.
