#Real estate registration# in Morocco, before the amendment that occurred in 2011, did not know a precise definition of its concept, which caused disturbances for a group of previous judicial efforts, as there were those who considered that the real estate registration system in Morocco is a set of procedures whose goal is to establish a real estate drawing only, so the legislator came through Law No. 14-07, in order to make it more compatible with the current reality, as the new amendment established a concept that includes two parts, and thus the concept of real estate registration can be defined as a set of procedures that the unregistered property goes through, and the goal behind them is to establish the real estate drawing for the property, and it is also a set of procedures whose goal is to restrict rights after establishing the real estate drawing. Morocco knew the real estate registration system during the era of the French protectorate, which sought to protect its interests and facilitate foreign ownership of real estate, as the protectorate authorities launched the real estate registration law on August 2, 1913. Its real estate system, like all countries, was derived from South Australia, which is considered the cradle of the real estate registration system, especially the section related to the eye registration system, which was known as the Torrance system after its creator, “Robert Torrance.”
