On this exciting tour, we take you to one of the best kept secrets in the northern area of ​​Costa Rica: the Mirador Cerro Blanco. This unique place, located in Pital, will leave you breathless with its panoramic views that span from the lush jungle to the majestic mountains that surround the area. The road to this spectacular destination is an experience in itself. Starting from San José, we will travel through amazing landscapes and picturesque roads that will make you feel the true essence of Costa Rica. Upon arrival, you will witness a metal lookout point on top of the mountain, a stunning contrast to the nature around it. Route of our tour: • We leave from San José towards Alajuela. • We take the road towards the Poás Volcano and turn off in Poasito towards Vara Blanca and Sarchí. • We pass through Río Cuarto and continue on Route 714 towards Pital, San Carlos. • From Pital, we continue towards Veracruz until we reach the Mirador Cerro Blanco Restaurant. Trip details: • Terrain: 90% asphalt, 10% gravel. • Duration: Approximately 7 hours round trip from San José. • Total distance: 220 km. • Tolls: 1 toll booth on the General Cañas Highway. • Temperature: Between 20°C and 33°C. Recommendations: Bring sunscreen, water, a camera to capture the incredible views, cash for the toll, an extra t-shirt, comfortable shoes, and bug repellent.
