The manager Kai Zimmermann wakes up in the morning in a hotel room where a dead woman is lying. Since Zimmermann has very good connections in the Senate, Strobel is asked to investigate the case discreetly. Zimmermann admits that he met the woman the night before in the hotel bar and went to his room with her. After a glass of champagne, however, he fell asleep and he no longer knows what happened afterwards. Adelheid investigates the matter and suspects that the dead woman was running a lucrative blackmail business with erotic offers. But who was the murderer? One of her victims? When Adelheid finds the woman's laptop, a lot becomes clear...
