Chapters: Introduction: 0:00 - 1:51 What is addiction? : 1:51 - 4:00 What are the 5 levers: 4:00 - 10:20 Conclusion: 10:20 - 12:47 For some, addiction is the consumption of hard drugs, for others it is a pack of cigarettes that we can't get rid of or it is the obligatory passage to the gym with a daily routine that can take up to a minimum of four hours a day, a feat to fit daily into a family and professional schedule, already very busy, but which we can't get rid of, it is irrepressible. For others, addiction is that of video games, we can spend up to entire nights without being able to stop or even go eat or for example, the irrepressible need to eat sweets that can even wake the person up several nights a week. And for others, it is downright work that has become a drug that they are unable to get away from in the evening, on weekends and even on vacation and we can even become very unpleasant with those close to us if they have the bad idea of wanting to make a remark. Some are aware of it, others a little less and others are totally in denial or even ignorance will not find their behavior abnormal or not realizing that their practice has become addictive, that is to say altering all or part of their free will or even their space of freedom. Addiction is a compulsive behavior, which creates an obsessive lack and impacts the mood, the perception of one's environment and one's ability to socialize. Addiction can make the dependent person sick, cut them off from their loved ones, make them lose their job, their friends, their children and sometimes even make them lose their dignity or their identity. Addiction acts like an invader that takes possession and puts the person at its mercy. Addiction often creeps into life insidiously and progresses step by step.
