Four important steps to take – starting with using the help of professionals. Thanks to this, going through the whole process will be easier, correctly performed and more understandable. 1. Construction expertise - allows you to check the technical condition of the building and assess whether it is suitable for adaptation to living conditions. 2. Ground tests - performed by geotechnicians, allow you to assess the height of groundwater and what needs to be done to secure the building. 3. Local Spatial Development Plan - obtaining/checking it will allow you to assess whether we can adapt an existing building to living conditions in a given area. 4. The last, definitely non-technical - do not be afraid of this type of investment, be patient, prepare for a lot of work and perhaps a bumpy adventure, but the effect and goal are definitely worth it. How to adapt new technologies and smart home devices to this type of building? What is important is the fact that we have a whole package of possibilities to choose from, we do not have to limit ourselves. By creating an installation from scratch, we can use all the options available on the market, choosing what we need. However, if we already have the installations prepared, this is also not an obstacle. There are many devices that do not require an additional power supply, such as battery or accumulator devices, that can be used at any stage of the project.
