Another day of the May Day weekend and another place we have visited awaits you. After combing the area around Bydgoszcz, we arrive at Lake Wielimie, which is located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in the Drawsko Lakeland. The lake with an area of 1865 ha is a typical pike-perch reservoir, and because the protective period for this species lasts from March 1 to May 31, the fishing ground is open for fishing only from June 1 and under special rules, which you can read about on the website: www.rybactwo.com.pl/zeszkoda-na-wedkowanie Although we came across a period when we could not take advantage of the fishing opportunities, this place delights us. Nature untouched by human activity, wild, sandy beaches, crystal clear water and pleasantly spent time - these are all things that make us want to come back here again. The next morning we set off to Lake Dołgie. After completing the formalities related to the permit for legal camping in the state forest (Gwda Wielka Forest) and the permit for fishing in that place (Przedsiębiorstwo Rybackie Sp. z oo Szczecinek), we set up camp on the shores of a picturesque, wild lake. There we spend time as a family: fishing, playing board games, discussing, and above all, relaxing in the bosom of nature. After the end of the May Day fishing adventure, unfortunately without spectacular fishing effects, we focus on the beach on the rest of our journey. The weather is spoiling us more and more, and we can't wait to dip our feet in the Baltic Sea. But is it just our feet? Or maybe we will be tempted to swim in the icy water?
