Assembly elections are going to be held in 2025. By-elections are being held on Belaganj, Imamganj, Tarari and Ramgarh seats. In the NDA alliance, BJP is contesting on Ramgarh and Tarari seats, while Jitan Ram Manjhi's daughter-in-law Deepa Manjhi is in the fray on Imamganj seat. At the same time, to demolish the RJD fort from Belaganj, Manorama Devi from Nitish Kumar's party JDU is in the fray. RJD candidates are in the fray from Ramgarh, Imamganj and Belaganj. CPI (ML) candidate Raju Yadav is in the fray from Tarari assembly seat. There is by-election on four assembly seats of Bihar, which is being considered as the semi-final of 2025. After this, direct assembly elections are going to be held in 2025. By-elections are being held on Belaganj, Imamganj, Tarari and Ramgarh seats.
