The first was the criticism for not having previous titles, without those critics knowing that Palmeiras even surprised him by giving him a report on his work as a coach. The second was even more striking: no one in Abel's family wanted him to go to Brazil. A journey that the Portuguese coach has planned out of his own conviction.
