Hirose Taisha Shrine, located in Kawai-cho, Kitakatsuragi-gun, Nara Prefecture, is an ancient shrine dedicated to Wakaukanoume, the god of agriculture and water. It began with a mysterious event during the reign of Emperor Sujin, when the Mizuashiike pond turned into land.
