The ambience is casual, young, modern and chic, the dishes are sophisticated and unusual. With this trendy vision, the young couple Jordana (29) and Nico (31) opened their restaurant "Emile" in a trendy district of Essen 1½ years ago. But while the trained chef Nico and assistant chef Daniel (23) are busy in the kitchen preparing cauliflower dust and salmon in a filo coating, Jordana and waitress Jessica (26) are desperately cleaning the small dining room - because hungry Essen residents are hardly acknowledging their trend with a bite.
