Nostalgic Showa Kayo and Showa Pop Vol. 8 • Quick listen... Nostalgic Showa Kayo and Showa Pop Vol. 8 How about the fourth song. I want to go straight to that song! If so, then why not try Nostalgic Showa Kayo and Showa Pop Vol.8, which you can listen to quickly (lol) 1970 (Showa 45) was a bright time for Japan, with the Osaka Expo attracting a huge crowd. It was a very different time from now, with the whole world full of energy. It was a year when enka was very strong in the pop music world, with Fuji Keiko, Mori Shinichi, and Cool Five tending to dominate the Oricon charts, but there were also pop songs with Latin rhythms, so I think there was a lot to enjoy. In this video, the first three songs start with drums, but that was popular at the time (lol) The Japan Record Awards that year were won by talented artists, with Yoichi Sugawara's "Kyou de Osareru" and Yoko Kishi's "Kibou" for the Best Singing Award. It was still the heyday of pop music, and I feel like it was the best time before they went down the idol route in the mid-70s. It certainly seems as though songs change with the times and the times change with the songs, but it was also an era when singers who gave us songs we could listen to, as well as songwriters, composers, and record company production staff, were all working hard. We never get bored of reminiscing, so please enjoy this episode while having a drink. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please also check out our sister channel, Otchan Information Bureau, which provides various information to seniors, / @Otchan Information Bureau. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On our sister channel, we also provide information for those who say that if they're going to listen to music, they might as well listen with good sound.
