The project was realized in collaboration with Ahali Müzik and Tiyatroevi. The songs recorded live at PortakalAltı in the early hours of the morning were accompanied by the smell of tea, fresh simit, and birdsong. These tracks were recorded live and then completed in the studio with the accompaniment of various instruments. The ambient sounds heard in the recordings are natural ambient sounds. Cem Erdost İleri offers an alternative to the “good music” concept in the commercial music market in all of the recordings in this project. In the commercial music market, it aims to present each piece in this project through live performance and with a simple/natural language, opposing the “artificial/eclectic” recording practice that is called “good” and consists of multiple performances (vocals/instruments) in order to achieve perfection.
