It’s been a year since we last visited Antwerp, but now we’re back in our favourite city – and this time for a special occasion: Ghislaine’s birthday! For two days, we enjoyed everything that makes Antwerp so special. We stayed at Hotel Banks, a cosy and centrally located hotel, and explored the city at our leisure. During this trip, we completely immersed ourselves in the magical Christmas atmosphere. The streets were beautifully lit, and the Christmas market gave us that ultimate holiday feeling. We wandered around the stalls full of mulled wine, Belgian delicacies and unique gifts. Of course, a visit to the Fashion Quarter was a must, where we went looking for beautiful items and found new inspiration. Food always plays a big role during our trips, and Antwerp did not disappoint. From the tastiest Belgian fries to surprising culinary gems – it was one big party. We also hesitated to stay overnight at the luxurious Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp - The Leading Hotels of the World, but in the end we decided on a cozier stay. Still, that hotel is definitely on our list for next time!
