A Place presents the magical wooden-towered churches of Kalotaszeg in the following parts. First, a beautifully situated, monumental Reformed church follows, which, despite its fortress-like, stout character, is perhaps the most intimate. Nothing shows its great influence better than the fact that its steep, shingle-roofed tower served as a prototype for the zoo aviary designed by Károly Kós.
