In my opinion, the VW Caddy Maxi is the perfect car for converting a camper van. The vehicle is a good length for conversion, and the manufacturer VW has already done great preparatory work that benefits us when converting the camper ourselves. It is not a stealth camper, but it is not at all conspicuous when converted. The Caddy has space to design the conversion to accommodate everything a camper van or mini camper needs or should have (cooking area, table, bench, sleeping area (bed), lots of storage space, electricity, toilet, compressor cool box, curtains, wash box (sink), and so on... There are many parts that are available in the original for the Caddy Maxi, such as ventilation grilles, rear tent, side tent, thermal mats, etc. It is also very easy to attach the base plate or the conversion firmly to the vehicle, as there are anchors in the vehicle floor that are used to secure the load.
