We are finally back on our adventures in the Maldives, and we are at the Dhoani Guesthouse, on the island of Kendhoo, in the Baa Atoll, about 2 hours by speedboat from Malé. Before diving into the story, some important premises! This video will be a little different from usual: no cuts and no filters. It is not only a new style, but also a choice to reduce editing time (for which I apologize). By doing so, you will be able to enjoy every moment, every look and every scene, as if you were here with us. :-) For those who are following us for the first time, our goal is to offer a real and practical look at how to travel to the Maldives in an accessible and authentic way, especially if, like us, you are with two children. The Maldives are generally designed for couples, with small rooms and double beds, but we have found a perfect place for a family, where we feel at home. Just behind the guesthouse, about 500 meters away, is the island school. Kendhoo is small but full of life. Every morning, children and teenagers gather to sing the national anthem, and then head to class. We continue our journey to the only beach equipped for tourists, the bikini beach. Choosing Kendhoo, instead of a resort, means immersing yourself in the authentic soul of the Maldives. Here you are not just a guest: you are a privileged observer of Maldivian daily life. From dawn until dusk, discover the quiet and genuine rhythm of the island. Women prepare traditional dishes, children play on the beach, and people live in harmony with the sea and nature. And this is also the adventure shared with Eleonora, my wife and travel companion, who has been working as a digital nomad for years. Our journey ends with the soft lights of the streets, while the island falls asleep early to wake up with the dawn. I hope you enjoyed the video and that it can inspire you. If you want to try a similar adventure with your family, do it: life is one, and it must be lived to the fullest!
