About :

The Ikarus 260 with registration number GNX-334, manufactured in 1998, has served in the Győr local plant since its new age. Due to its deteriorated technical condition, Volánbusz stopped it permanently in 2023, however, an entrepreneur from Kistarcsa, Gábor Robotka and his grandson, Levente Német, noticed the Ikarus, which was still wearing Kisalföld Volános stripes, and it was condemned for demolition and was bought at an auction. The vehicle was then made operational and moved to its new home in January 2024, with which they have several plans for the future. In the video series "The New Life of an Ikarus" by gyoribuszok.hu, Ikarus are presented that once served Volán of Kisalföld and his legal successors and were preserved for posterity.
