#SeoraksanDinosaurRidge_16hours30min_HonestMountainHiking #WhyHonestMountainsareDangerous #OnePotLunchBox_Bibimbap #CorporateRetirementSupportStartupStartup I arrived in Sokcho on the evening of the 25th to challenge Seoraksan DinosaurRidge, which I had been looking forward to, on Thursday during my 2-night, 3-day business trip to Gangwon-do. I woke up at dawn and arrived at Seoraksan National Park Small Park. Oh no, I forgot the headlamp I had prepared at my accommodation. I had no choice but to turn on the light function on my phone to illuminate the darkness of dawn and started the full-scale hike. Since it was my first hike, I almost went to Ulsanbawi, but I ended up going back to Biseondae. It was an unbelievable reality that there were no people, but I overcame my fear and headed towards Biseondae. As I passed the Unknown Warriors Memorial Tower, I had a strange experience. After arriving at Biseondae and taking a short break, I saw two headlights in the distance. I felt relieved that there were other hikers besides me, so I waited until they left before starting the hike. After passing Geumganggul Cave, the darkness gradually disappeared and the bright dawn began to show its unripe, hushed appearance. After watching the sunrise for a while, the full-scale hike up Madeungryeong began. I stopped at beautiful scenic spots here and there to take videos and spend time there. This later became a factor in making me hurry when descending. While I was taking in the beautiful scenery of Seorak and taking videos, I was delayed for a long time, and a hiker who left at 6 am even overtook me. After eating #Hansotdosirakbibimbap prepared at Madeungryeong Intersection, I felt full and energized. It seemed that Koreans really need to eat gochujang. The solo hike on the dinosaur ridge, including Biseondae Janggunbong, Geumganggul, Geumgangmun Madeungryeong, and the full-fledged dinosaur ridge section, Nahanbong (1,298m), Geunsaebong (1,270m), 1275 peak, Mumyeongbong, and Shinsendae, which overlooks the magnificent dinosaur ridge, proceeded safely. However, I realized the dangers of solo hiking after meeting a hiker in his 60s who had a facial injury at King Kong Rock, and I became more careful about safe hiking. The way down to Heungak Shelter was not easy, but I did not rush and carefully descended, and with about 200m left to Heungak Shelter, I descended toward Cheonbuldong Valley. I became very anxious because it was 5km to Biseondae, and rather than appreciating Cheonbuldong Valley, I focused on descending safely before darkness fell, without time to capture the various waterfalls and other scenic views. And at around 7:30 PM, I arrived at the emergency exit, completely exhausted, running out of water, and very thirsty. I arrived at the parking lot of the small park after using the light function of my phone in the dark for about an hour to the small park. I felt the energy of Seorak all day long, and I felt confident that I still had good stamina for someone in my 50s, but I felt that there was someone who guided me through the hike safely. I can't make it public, though. This is an unforgettable Seoraksan Gongryul Ridge Honsan hike on August 26, 2021. I left at 3:40 AM, descended, and arrived at the small park at 8:30 PM. The day ended after a long 17 hours and 30 minutes, 19.5 km journey.
