The Mind Without Expectations Will Have Everything - Venerable Vien Minh (so good) Venerable Vien Minh, a highly respected great master, loved and admired by millions of Buddhists across the country, is one of the strong spiritual pillars of Vietnamese Buddhism. Venerable Vien Minh is also the one who founded Huyen Khong Pagoda in Lang Co - Thua Thien Hue in 1973; founded Vien Khong Zen forest in Dinh mountain, Ba Ria Vung Tau so that Buddhist monks and nuns across the country have a place to practice meditation. Venerable Vien Minh was born in 1944 in Quang Tri. He became a monk and received the novice precepts in 1964 and the full precepts in 1965 at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Theravada Buddhist Sangha in Ky Vien Tu, District 3, Saigon, now Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, there is not much information about his real name, so for now we only know his dharma name and place of birth. Venerable Vien Minh came from a poor family in Quang Tri province. However, his parents were both hard-working, devoted to their children and virtuous people. From a young age, he showed his love for Buddhism and had an early affinity with Buddhism. Later, he was guided and guided on the path of studying and researching Buddhism by his master and successor, the Most Venerable Elder Monk Gioi Nghiem. Thanks to that, Venerable Vien Minh is known by many people and Buddhist monks and nuns across the country, not only for the profound knowledge he acquired through his studies but also for his talent and kindness towards everyone. Venerable Vien Minh is the abbot of Buu Long Pagoda. Under his leadership, Buu Long Pagoda has become an important Buddhist center, attracting many Buddhists to study and participate in Buddhist activities.
