In his first interview with Brazilian television after the presidential elections, philosopher, writer and journalist Olavo de Carvalho talks to Moisés Rabinovici on the program Um olhar sobre o Mundo (A Look at the World). Considered the intellectual mentor of the government that will take office in the country next year and of much of the right-wing movement that brought Jair Bolsonaro to power, Olavo de Carvalho has already nominated two ministers for the president-elect. In the interview with the program, he said that he did not want to occupy any ministry, but that he would accept being Brazil's ambassador to the United States, where he already lives. He also recommended that Brazil be tough with China and spoke about the growth of the right-wing in the country and around the world.
